How do I add authentication directly on a page?

The Bread & Butter Sign in Widget allows you to add authentication options directly onto any page on your site, just like Bread & Butter’s login page:

This can be added to your homepage if you want users to log in there, or any other page. You can also set the Destination URL so that users end up at another page after logging in.

You can add the Profile widget to a page or your header by adding a Shortcode:

  1. Find the location on the page where you want the Profile Widget to appear.

  3. Update your page when ready.

Note: The Bread & Butter Sign in Widget will inherit your global, or page specific settings. For example, if you have set the Destination URL to the current page in the page’s block editor, users who log in through the Sign in Widget will be returned to the current page.
