Custom Planning Center Identity Provider

Step 1

Log in to the Planning Center Developer site using your Planning Center account:

  • Click on Applications in the top menu.
  • Click New Application at the bottom of the page.

Step 3

  • Enter your App information. For App Name, we recommend using your organization or company name.
  • Enter a description, your organization’s website address, and any other information that you have, including an app icon.

Step 4

  • For Authorization callback URLs, enter:

  • Click Submit.

Your app has now been created. On the App information page, copy and save your Client ID and Secret for the Bread & Butter setup below.

Step 6

Bread & Butter Setup:

  1. Go to
  2. Click Sign In and authenticate (or Sign Up make a new account and authenticate).
  3. Go to Settings in the left menu.
  4. Click on Planning Center under SSO Settings > Social Accounts.
  5. Select "Set Planning Center for Production".
  6. Enter a custom name and description.
  7. Enter the Client ID from the Planning Center setup steps above.
  8. Enter the Secret from the Planning Center setup steps above.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click the checkbox next to your new Planning Center provider to enable it.
